First Digital Self Portrait - FINISHED!

Soooo... I finally finished it! I finished it awhile ago, but... I haven't gotten around to posting it until now. D: I'm also currently procrastinating some homework as well. :>

Yay! I was looking though my sister's DeviantART page (http://rabu-starshine.deviantart.com), and I came across one of her drawings that I really liked. So... This Jester girl happened. :3

College Work Update

Woo, a college work update! It's kinda hard getting these all together, considering that I have to take a picture with my camera of everything. :o

So, today was really fun though! Got to go out to lunch with my whole family today, and we went to the Urban Burger Bar. Boy were those burgers tasty!! But very messy. D: We were going to go to the aquarium, but we ended up not being able to because the aquarium stops admitting peeps at 4:15. We were too late. :c But. We went to MOLLY'S CUPCAKES instead!! OMG I LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUVE Molly's Cupcakes! They're so flippin' awesome I could eat them forever and get fat. XD Anyways, the only sad part was that this was the last day I'm going to see my sister for a very long time. She's off to San Diego where she's stationed for three years. She'll be on a ship for 7 months, starting in August. I'm going to miss her very very much. :c My parents and I are definitely going to visit her though, it's California after all! And hopefully she can visit here as well. c:>

So, yeah. Today was a pretty successful day, for the most part. c:

Another WIP for the Portrait!

Worked some more on it, bringing the total time up to 4 hours so far! :D I really am happy with how it's coming out! Fixed the nose, too. XD

Color Studies, yaaaay.

Woo, so here are some color studies we did in my fundamentals class. :B I like mixing colors, but I do not like painting. It's hard. :c

I would like to learn though, cause I have a bunch of canvases at home that need to be painted on. :P

First Digital Self Portrait - WIP

So, I've still been working on digital painting and whatnot, trying new things and such. :) I started a digital self portrait, and I think for once, I'm actually going to finish! I have started numerous ones in the past, but I believe I can now finish it, because I know what I'm doing now! (Sort of.)

I'll be pushing myself to do more of these, so as to get better at digital painting; it's something I've always wanted to be good at, and I think art school really helped too! (Well, it's still helping, and will continue to help more in the future!)

So yeah.

I've had a pretty boring weekend, so I won't bore you by describing it. :D
